Extremely Rare 1930’s Collegeville Masquerade Costume H-500 Witch w Cloth Mask New In Box. This extremely rare Collegeville Costumes “Masquerade Costume” is brand new in the box and is believed to date from the late 1930’s or early 1940’s. This “H-500 Witch” is a size large and is believed to be complete, although we couldn’t find another one anywhere to compare it to, so we don’t know for sure. The box measures 12″ x 10 1/2″ x 4 and is in excellent shape with minimal wear and bright colors. What a really cool vintage Halloween item! One of the earliest Halloween costumes we have ever seen! Item Condition: All items are preowned unless specified. Most are antique or vintage and may show wear or damage typical of items of its age. 1 Re-designed from materials from late 1800s to early 1900s. Skirt is hand-made with 1800s beadings, shear fabrics, ribbons, and other miscellaneous turn of the century fabrics. Skirt fits Petite to Small and has attached hand-made belt with vintage black roses on detachable clip. Skirt fits front area Only with ribbon belt extending to back. 2 Included Sequins Jacket (hand-sewn in with stretchable top is included). 3 Mask is also included. Breast: 32″ – 34″. Waist: 24″ – 26″. Hat: Late 1800s – Early 1900s Original Black Velvet Hat has been cleaned and restored w/Original Beads, and updated with shear fabric ribbons. [I was pleased with the re-design of the hat]. After completion, it resembled a 1930’s hat of that era, which led me create the costume. Please Note : I love restoring vintage & antique clothing to fit a more modernized time.
