Vintage 1960s Ben Cooper “Walt Disney Character Costume” Donald Duck Halloween Costume & Mask – Complete in Original Box with Rare 1960 Disneyland Contest Flyer. For sale is an early, hard-to-find Ben Cooper Inc. “Authentic Walt Disney Character Costume” – Donald Duck edition – complete with vinyl mask, matching costume, and original illustrated box. This is the early diamond-corner box style (featuring Jiminy Cricket, Minnie, Mickey, Pinocchio, Pluto, and Donald in the corner artwork), not one of the more common 1970s-80s reissues. Vacuum-formed vinyl Donald Duck mask with sculpted feature detail, “Donald Duck” printed on the cap band. Matching vinyl/satin body costume. Original Ben Cooper Inc. “Masquerade costumes” box with vintage Disney character diamond-corner artwork. BONUS: An original 1960 promotional insert – “Enter Donald Duck’s Contest: Win a Trip to Disneyland” – advertising TWA Boeing 707 travel, the Disneyland Hotel, and the Coral Swim Club. This period piece helps date the set to right around 1960 and is a fun stand-alone collectible in its own right for Disneyana and advertising-ephemera collectors.

Collegeville Costume Co. Child’s Clown Costume 2 pc, fabric, Vintage 1960’s
This vintage child’s clown costume was manufactured by the Collegeville Costume Co. It is a classic two-piece costume, constructed out of flame-retardant crinkle cut rayon or thin synthetic fabric. The costume features a graphic shirt showcasing a clown face with a diamond patterned ruff, paired with mismatched split-design pants; one side bright yellow and the other side red with large black polka dots. THIS COSTUME IS CONSIDERED TO BE UNCOMMON TO SCARCE AND WAS DESIGNED TO BE WORN ONCE OR TWICE. THIS IS AN AMAZINGLY RARE FIND OF THIS EXACT COSTUME IN THIS CONDITION. This was my childhood costume and has been lovingly stored for many years to preserve it. It has never been exposed to smoke. There is no size tag in the costume but I would have been approximately age 5 when I wore this.

Vintage Ben Cooper Deluxe Quality Skeleton Skull Halloween Costume 1960’s Unused NOS Complete with Mask Outfit Box. You will receive all that is shown in the photos for this listing. First photo represents all items in the lot, subsequent photos are closer views of the items/condition. Box is not dated and had a similar box and costume that was from the 1960s with this style. Ben Cooper Deluxe Quality branding. Reference #2791 size Young Adult (16-18) per box details. Costume Made in U. Includes outfit with the silver glitter on the upper part of the costume and the lower part has the white bone details. Different textures/designs as shown in close up photos. Noted on box “All Rayon Exclusive of Ornamentation”. The string part on the back is still tied in original condition and costume has never been used. Outstanding condition on an item that is approx. The mask has the original black string and in unused condition as shown in photos with no cracks or damage. A couple photos shown using a blacklight to show the fluorescent coloring on some areas of the mask. The box is does have some wear and tear to include creasing, edge wear and a price faintly written in green pen on the end where the name information of the costume is located. There are a couple of tears/splits in the box top (under the side area of the words Deluxe Quality – noticeable in photos). There is no cellophane window on the box. Approximate measurement with tape measure shown in photos as a reference of the size as well as what is noted on the box.
