Collegeville Costume Co. Child’s Clown Costume 2 pc, fabric, Vintage 1960’s
This vintage child’s clown costume was manufactured by the Collegeville Costume Co. It is a classic two-piece costume, constructed out of flame-retardant crinkle cut rayon or thin synthetic fabric. The costume features a graphic shirt showcasing a clown face with a diamond patterned ruff, paired with mismatched split-design pants; one side bright yellow and the other side red with large black polka dots. THIS COSTUME IS CONSIDERED TO BE UNCOMMON TO SCARCE AND WAS DESIGNED TO BE WORN ONCE OR TWICE. THIS IS AN AMAZINGLY RARE FIND OF THIS EXACT COSTUME IN THIS CONDITION. This was my childhood costume and has been lovingly stored for many years to preserve it. It has never been exposed to smoke. There is no size tag in the costume but I would have been approximately age 5 when I wore this.

This is a very hard to find costume. The mask is in great shape, the string on the back pulled through on the one side. The costume top looks ok, just needs to be ironed/straightened out. The bottom is ripped pretty good and needs to be repaired. The box is in decent shape. The plastic is ripped pretty good. See pics for best condition description.

Vintage 1968 “Batfink” Halloween Costume set in original box by BEN COOPER. Based on the popular TV show from 1966 based on a combination of the BATMAN and GREEN HORNET 1966 TV shows. “As Seen on TV” on the box. Created by HAL SEEGAR, who also did MILTON THE MONSTER and FEARLESS FLY. Box has overall scattered wear and torn cellophane. Mask is very nice for its age. Costume has crotch seam split and overall scattered wear. Still has both tie clasps.
