Very Early Vintage Collegeville Costumes #216. The cloth mask has a small 1-inch tear at the bottom of each seamSome wear around the eyes & nose holes. Discolored from age-Once white is now a copper color. The costume has an 8-inch tear along the seam from the bottom up. The box is in good condition -the cellophane is intact and 2 out of 4 corners on the lid are split.

This is a Rare Find. Very Early Collegeville Halloween Costume. Collegeville Costumes #12 Space Man. Box is in good condition. The cellophane has a hole, and a tear has been taped. Costume is a child’s size medium. The costume is a bit faded and has some small brown spots mainly on the pants. There is a large tear in the crouch area that has been sewn. The string around the collar is torn off on one side. There are tears on the graphics on the front and the paint is flaking off. This needs to be handled gently. The mask is in excellent condition but has no string. The cone shaped hat is in very good condition, but the string needs to be reattached on the one side. This has been folded in the box for a very long time and has creases.

Very Rare 1950’s The Brain Electronic Man Cardboard Costume By Fibre-Bilt 1957
Extremely rare “Electronic Man” Cardboard Costume which was available for order through “The Brain” magazine’s back cover on issue number 4. I have included an image of the back of that issue in the final photo, but the magazine itself is not actually included. Everything appears “new” relatively speaking. Most Cardboard pieces are unpunched, with the exception of a few pieces which have disconnected from the Cardboard over the years. I do know according the the instructions it originally came with should straps and 2 wooden fasteners, which are not included in this set here.

This listing is for one extremely rare vintage 1950s Collegeville “Scarecrow” “Sparkle Velvet” #12-S Halloween costume, with mask, with box, size Medium 8-10. Yes, this is the scarecrow costume that was immediately discontinued because of the unfortunate placement of the post and tuft of grass between the scarecrow’s legs. People mistook it for something else… Pretty funny by today’s standards. Shocking in the 1950s. Superb condition for nearly 70 years old.
