Vintage 1960s homemade clown costume in cotton. Done with a faux patchwork front and super sweet ditzy daisy in back. Buttons up the front and has huge yarn pom poms along placket. Ruffled collar in a red harlequin print and has 1 pocket in front and 1 in back. No size tags but seems best for an XS/S petite person although could go to a more fitted M but please check below for best fit. Material has no stretch. Bust 38” Waist 42” Hips 44” Length 54” Shoulder to Shoulder open Sleeve Length 23” Inseam 27” Shoulder to Crotch 30′. Vintage Handmade Clown Suit with A Patchwork Look Material made of different Oranges and Browns with Some Green. Checkered and Floral Mixed Designs. Outfit Has a Zipper Down the back with Tie Strings at the top of the Zipper. Long Sleeve with Elastic Ruffled Ends at the Wrist and The Ankle with an Orange Wavy Trim. Comes With an Orange Ruffled Neck Collar That Ties for Desirable Sizing. Matching Patchwork Material Triangular Clown Hat With an Elastic Neck Strap, An Orange Pom Pom and An Orange Wavy Trim. Threadeing has come undone in the back of the armpit. Could be easily sewn. Ruffled neck has some discoloring. Over all very good condition for its age. Was made in the 1970’s. Pit to pit 22 inch. Arm length outer 28inch inner 17inch. Inner leg 20 inch. Waist 22.5 inch. Leg elastic 7 inch. Wrist elastic 4.5 inch. Neck is very adjustable to as big or little as you want. Ruffled collar is 26 inch to ties. Hat is 9.5 inches long and wide.
