Vintage estate sale item. This listing is for one very rare 1962 Ben Cooper Magic Glo Brand “Rattles the Snake Man” #888 Halloween costume, w/mask, w/box, size Medium 8-10. Magic Glo was one of Ben Cooper’s earliest nighttime safety features, featuring the glow-in-the-dark mask. Rattles was an original character created by Ben Cooper and remains one of the much harder to find costumes. Fantastic and desirable piece of Ben Cooper history. One of the coolest and rare costumes to find basically a knock off of Hannah Barberera Bird Man. Costume is cloth and in pretty immaculate condition. These are usually dust and stained this one however is very clean Is completely intact with awesome artwork. Mask is near perfect with no cracks or chunks anywhere couple of things up on the feathers just from storage in the BoxAlso a replacement strap I’m guessing. Also has the super cool hinged mouthpiece with both hinges intact. A real stunner and it has the original Box. Does glow in the dark if you hold it under a LED Flash light for a while then go into a closet or something looks pretty great as shown in the picture. RARE! 1997 Sorcerer/Wizard Staff 61 Crystal Ball Flashing Paper Magic Halloween
Awesome wizard staff with flashing lightning/thunder noise. Button on side triggers 3 seconds of thunder sound and ball flashes. Requires 3 C batteries. Retired many years ago. Some cosmetic condition issues as seen in the last photos: a 3 crack in the top ball, small yellow faded area on ball, some small cracks on the threaded connection pieces. This can be disassembled into 4 segments, which have a slightly different brown tint than the connector pieces. Not noticeable in low light. It was designed with an internal metal rod to stabilize all the components/segments, and it gives a nice weight to the piece. Should be used with care. Not a toy or for children to play with.
