Vintage “Yankiboy” Dale Evans “Queen of the West”. Official Cowgirl Outfit in O. Boy, this is a fabulous example of a 1950s collectible cowgirl costume. It is an official outfit made by Yaniboy Play Clothes for Dale Evans, the Queen. This is a complete outfit which includes a plaid flannel shirt, skirt w/ fringe, vest, hat. And a toy gun w/ holster. Labels indicate that the outfit is a Size 6. Black 100% Wool Felt Hat: Small-about 6 across (String is Torn). Shirt: Yellow, Black & Green Plaid Flannel. Chest:14 1/2 across. Skirt: Suede w/ Picture of Dale on the front, Green plastic fringe & Yellow stars. Vest: Brown Fabric w/ Brown & Yellow suede front. Chest: 14 (open front). The leather holster has an accent of a horseshoe w/ a star that says “Real Texan”. It holds a gray plastic “Pyro” toy six-shooter. This outfit has been stored in the original box for many years so it will need some. The hat is a little out of shape. There are some small spots on the wool from. There is some light soiling and signs of wear from storage. The bottom of the original box is intact but the lid is torn on the corners. It shows some light water damage.
