This vintage New Orleans Mardi Gras costume was designed by Louis R. Massett Jr and is handmade in the United States. The costume is size 2XL and features a multicolor design, perfect for a masquerade occasion. This unique piece was parade-worn from the 1995 Krewe of Caesar and embodies a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde theme, fitting for the vibrant and festive atmosphere of Mardi Gras celebrations in the 1990s. I personally wore this once in the parade. It has not seen daylight until now. It has a few stains on it and it has never been cleaned. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Extremely Rare 1930’s Collegeville Masquerade Costume H-500 Witch w Cloth Mask New In Box. This extremely rare Collegeville Costumes “Masquerade Costume” is brand new in the box and is believed to date from the late 1930’s or early 1940’s. This “H-500 Witch” is a size large and is believed to be complete, although we couldn’t find another one anywhere to compare it to, so we don’t know for sure. The box measures 12″ x 10 1/2″ x 4 and is in excellent shape with minimal wear and bright colors. What a really cool vintage Halloween item! One of the earliest Halloween costumes we have ever seen! Item Condition: All items are preowned unless specified. Most are antique or vintage and may show wear or damage typical of items of its age.
