Extremely Rare 1930’s Collegeville Masquerade Costume H-500 Witch w Cloth Mask New In Box. This extremely rare Collegeville Costumes “Masquerade Costume” is brand new in the box and is believed to date from the late 1930’s or early 1940’s. This “H-500 Witch” is a size large and is believed to be complete, although we couldn’t find another one anywhere to compare it to, so we don’t know for sure. The box measures 12″ x 10 1/2″ x 4 and is in excellent shape with minimal wear and bright colors. What a really cool vintage Halloween item! One of the earliest Halloween costumes we have ever seen! Item Condition: All items are preowned unless specified. Most are antique or vintage and may show wear or damage typical of items of its age. RARE Garbage Pail Kids 1985 ITCHY RICHIE Halloween Costume In Box Series 1 GPK
Pictured above is a very hard-to-find Original GARBAGE PAIL KIDS Collegeville Halloween costume with mask and box. This is the ITCHY RICHIE character from the first series of Topps Garbage Pail Kids cards and is considered the rarest of the GPK Halloween Costumes by Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. The costume, mask and box are all dated 1985 and the costume is in Near Mint condition. The mask is missing the elastic band on the back which fell off due to age and there is a small dent with some paint loss on the bottom of his chin as shown in the photos. The original box is in fair condition with age related wear including a couple of tears, dents, missing cellophane window and some moisture damage. It still makes for a nice display piece (please view the many close-up photos for actual condition). The costume is a size small making it just right for display. The costume is bright and looks new. They reproduced the Itchy Richie costume a few years after this one but came on a hanger instead of in a box. They also produced a couple of other characters from the second and third series in greater numbers, however, this is the rare one. High grade GPK cards from the First Series command over a thousand dollars and this is much harder to find especially in this condition with the original box. This rare costume will be a great addition to your Garbage Pail Kids collection.
