RARE Garbage Pail Kids 1985 ITCHY RICHIE Halloween Costume In Box Series 1 GPK
Pictured above is a very hard-to-find Original GARBAGE PAIL KIDS Collegeville Halloween costume with mask and box. This is the ITCHY RICHIE character from the first series of Topps Garbage Pail Kids cards and is considered the rarest of the GPK Halloween Costumes by Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. The costume, mask and box are all dated 1985 and the costume is in Near Mint condition. The mask is missing the elastic band on the back which fell off due to age and there is a small dent with some paint loss on the bottom of his chin as shown in the photos. The original box is in fair condition with age related wear including a couple of tears, dents, missing cellophane window and some moisture damage. It still makes for a nice display piece (please view the many close-up photos for actual condition). The costume is a size small making it just right for display. The costume is bright and looks new. They reproduced the Itchy Richie costume a few years after this one but came on a hanger instead of in a box. They also produced a couple of other characters from the second and third series in greater numbers, however, this is the rare one. High grade GPK cards from the First Series command over a thousand dollars and this is much harder to find especially in this condition with the original box. This rare costume will be a great addition to your Garbage Pail Kids collection.

I tried my best to take photos of the details. Some issues with ties and a tear on Batman’s back. Velcro cod pieces, not sure if original or done by the previous owners. Vtg RARE Handmade Devil Costume 1920s Mask Cape Pitchfork Tail Horns Lucifer. Very old (1920s-1940s) handmade costume. Top is a cape with hand appliqued pitchfork on it. Snaps around the neck. Neck opening measures 7 when snapped. Cape length is 24 from neck to longest outer seam. Eye mask is attached to the hood. Mask snaps in front under the mouth. Pants are elastic at the waist with lots of stretch available. 22″-stretch to 29″. Elastic around bottom hem. Tail is stuffed and attached to butt seam. Tail measures 20 long.
