Vtg 1960s Collegeville Halloween Costume Mask BRUTE w Box CHILDS Frankenstein
Hard to find vintage 1960s Collegeville Halloween Costume complete in the original box. This looks like Frankenstein but is “THE BRUTE”. The costume is a CHILDS MEDIUM. The box has wear, especially around the edges but has the original plastic window. The mask is in very good condition with one tear on the top (see picture). The costume is intact and in good condition except that the red legs are very stained. I believe this is “bleeding” from the black upper part of the costume. I do not recommend this costume for actual use as it is almost 60 years old and fragile. See my other Ben Cooper costumes from the same time period. This listing is for the 4 very cool unused (or very little use) costume party hats with a cardboard brim of witch, jack o lantern (jol), black cat, owl, bat, stars. They have some really cool features… The rim is a harder plastic. The top part is a thinner plastic so you can shape the hoboness of this to be different for each person! – The cardboard bands are overall clean and stapled down onto the hats. You could actually replace that trim with trim of any holiday, but these are the original halloween bands. Rare to get a set of 4 like this. They measure approx 3.75 tall unless they are extended up. The rims measure approx 1.5. The circumference inside measures approx 20.75″ and 6.26″ x 6.75.
