Beautiful pair of vintage hand sewn purple velvet dresses with contrasting color bows late 1960’s / 1970’s era – hand sewn from plush dark purple velvet with satan bow accents – wonderful for vintage fashion / theatrical / costume use. Long maxi dress has bow front and back zipper closure – long sleeves with ruffles at wrists and hemline – high empire waist style. Some areas of nap/velvet crushing consistent with age and storage one in front like a line down middle. Shoulders- 16 seam to seam. Shorter dress has a bow accent that goes in the back and has a back zipper closure. Short sleeves with elastic. Shoulders- 15 seam to seam.
