It’s Summerween, and time to plan your Halloween spooky season costume. This stunning and unique bespoke costume was originally designed to be a Raven, sexy and full of mystic qualities, but can be styled as many characters. The costume has 4 parts. Black and Purple Lace-Up Corset with a feathered skirt. Raven Mask, hand made in the Venice Carnivale style of papier mache and irridescent black feathers, and attached with ribbon. Feathered Lace Wrist Bands. Mesh Bustle Skirt. This super sexy Lace-Up Corset is a size XL. Scroll down for measurements. It covers the breasts (overbust), but does not have cups, which makes it able to fit more body sizes and types. The key measurement will be the waist. The corset is very flattering and gives the Renaissance Faire costume type of lift to the breasts. You use the back laces to achieve the maximum hourglass shape. The boned purple satin corset is overlaid with black lace. The deep plunge sweetheart neckline is trimmed in black feathers and a bow. Stainless steel clips close the front. The back of the corset is laced prettily with a wide ribbon for adjusting to your body and personal comfort level. The corset bones are plastic. The corset is trimmed with a feathered skirt, very short, with beaded fringe. It is showgirl style, and showcases your legs. At the smallest part of your waist (the “natural” waist) the measurement is approximately 30 inches. For US corset sizes, a 30 inch corset is recommended for waist sizes 33 to 36 inches. If your waist is in this range, this corset will fit you. If your natural waist is below 30 inches, this corset will be too large. Measure your “High Hip”, around the iliac crest, where your low rise jeans sit. Please do not measure around your butt, that’s too low. If your High Hip is over 44 inches, you will have a problem with the feather skirt. This is unlikely, but please check. PLEASE measure yourself and test the measurements before ordering. One last note: If you have never owned a feathered garment before, note that it will sometimes shed feathers. It’s part of the package. This mysterious and gorgeous Raven mask was constructed by hand by Masked Enchantment, and is Signed by the artist Marissa Learclyd. The mask has never been worn and still has the tag. The beak is constructed from papier mache, hand-painted, and textured. The raven’s head is covered in real feathers, a deep black with green irridescent highlights. The eyes are simple cut out holes. When you put the mask on, it covers the entire face. It attaches in the old fashioned style of ribbon ties. The bustle skirt is a frothy bright purple mesh confection with a poof on behind like a bustle. It is a showgirl style skirt, with no coverage in the front. The mesh is quite see-through, so it’s very sexy. The bustle skirt flows down the rear, and further creates the illusion of the raven tail that starts with the purple feathers on the bustier’s rear. This pair of wrist adornments are by MeanKittyWear, whose specialty is handcrafted costuming apparel. The wrist cuffs are lace with bright purple feathers. This costume can be adapted to various looks, in addition to the Raven. It can be styled as a showgirl, either modern or vintage style. Vintage Halloween pirate costume child -in original box
This is a vintage consume for a child pirate. The costume consists of 6 pieces. The black oil cloth pair is a mystery to me. I think they are shoe covers and they have melted and are not in very good shape but the rest of the costume is perfect. There is a shirt with adorable pockets, pants-pirate themed, a head scarf, and a yellow piece of single layered cotton trimmed in red that I do not know what it is for. These items are in the original box which is in pretty good shape. It is a little warped and has a punched out area, no missing cardboard on the back. The lid to the box has great graphics however the edges to the top are a little depressed, not bad and the front fits to the back just fine, it is just not perfect. The costume box says on the front ” Made in the Mardi gras city” and it has the maker who was E. Simon’s sons written in the upper right hand part of the cover to the box. The box measures14 by 11 inches by 1 1/ 2 thick.
