BEN COOPER WOLFMAN #854 Halloween Masquerade Costume & Mask In Box Size Large
This is a Ben Cooper Original Halloween mask and costume from the 1960s in the original box. The mask has one crack in the left ear (look at photos) and has the original elastic band still attached. The flame retardant rayon costume is wrinkled but is in nice condition. It is Size Large (12 – 14). The box is in good shape with minimal shelf wear for its age. HOWEVER, one of the seams on the lower left side has separated (please see photo). I was going to fix this from the inside with some tape, but decided to leave this to the next owner. The original tag is present (see photo). Star series issue and it doesn’t have the reflective sparkles from later costumes, added for visibility in the dark. Just in time for Halloween! Vintage 1966 Dated Ben Cooper Wolfman Halloween Masquerade Costume and Mask #894. The mask has edge splitting in the chin(worst), ear and top areas(photos 5,6,7,8) and has rubber band repairs on the right side(photo 6). The costume has fabric fraying at the sleeves and back slit(photos 9,10), a hole in the. Waist(photo 11) and what looks to be a sewn repair in the front and back crotch(photo 12). The original box has some edge wear, deformities(photos 1,2,3) and split seam on the bottom half(photo 4). This is a Don Post Studios Wolfman mask. The mask was sculpted originally by the great Pat Newman in 1965, and reissued in 1998. This is a recent casting from an old mold. Spfx Rare Wolfman Silicone Mask Fx Werewolf Not Latex Haunt Realistic Costume
Mask is from the early Rusty era. Insane amount of detail on this wolf man forever stuck in mid transformation. Repainted by Damien Zimmerman. Hair punched by me, Jerry Almond. Very rare, very hard mask to find. The eyes are slightly rough just because of how thin they were around the openings. Not sure if they originally didn’t cut them smooth or if they just show the age of the mask. They still fit my eyes quite well and other than being a rough edge do not appear to have been enlarged. Only one of these masks ever hair that I’ve seen. Great for any haunt!
