Trick or Treat studios H78 Myers Mask not Don Post
This is the brand new Halloween 1978 Michael Myers mask fully licensed by Trick Or Treat Studios, released this year. And completely overhauled by me, and my #1 rehaul on them. I have to say, out of the box this mask is the best mask in my opinion they have released next to their H6 mask. This mask is extremely large, but it gives off a straight up 1978 Myers feel unlike any i have seen before. The quality of the pull was perfect, detail was already amazing out of the box and really doesn’t need an overhaul for those that just want a cool mask straight out of the box to wear on the big day. The hair, i used straight camel hair, it’s not what i normally use, but even that gives it a very cool look unlike I’ve seen before. OOAK Don Post Studios Creature A master Mask custom Mechanix Illustrated Tharp
This is a recent casting from the Master mold of the DPS Creature (version A) Calendar reissue mask. The Master mold is the only plaster mold that’s made on the original clay sculpture. We do not own this mold. It has been custom painted by Cathy Tharp with a scheme that was inspired by the cover art for the 1954 Mechanix Illustrated Magazine, which depicts the underwater suit for the film. This mask is not trimmed for wearing, (although it can be trimmed) and is for display only. Don Post Cousin Eerie Long Neck Vintage Monster Mask Warren Publications Rubber
This is a Don Post mask that was never produced in the 60’s, but a few are floating around now. It was sculpted and molded in the 60’s, but never released and this is from the first actual production of this mask several years ago. A different molded hair version was produced, but is not as cool as this, which is probably the best Cousin Eerie mask ever made. Cousin Eerie was the host of Eerie Magazine from Warren Publications and is now still being used by Dark Horse comics as a comic host. Super condition on this, I forget who painted it. The Thing Latex Mask Bust Tharp Not Don Post Halloween Monster
Some years back, Don Post veteran, Cathy Tharp, produced one of the very best likenesses of actor James Arness, as The Thing from Another World. I was fortunate enough to get #2 out of the mold (see pic). This mask/bust was painted by Cathys husband, Rob Tharp, another Don Post Studios veteran. As you can see this is a beautiful mask with nice, crisp detail. The latex is in excellent condition, being cast fairly thick, actually thick enough to stand on its own, though I have kept it stuffed with paper and plastic bags. This is more of a latex bust than a mask and is not cut, nor is it meant for wearing. This is a foam master, which is used to make a mold and then to make masks from the mold. It is in excellent original condition. This is a MINI SIZE version of the 1986 The Mask from Don Post, which was made in 1998. It is 8″ tall with some extra from the 5″ tall actual mask part. On the back it says 1986 Don Post Studios Inc and A Don Post Mask. This is the original 1986 version pantagraphed or scanned down to smaller size.
