This appears to be a generation one mask with cotton tshirt hood, side lines along cheeks are visible, eyes are irregularly shaped, there are the 3 dimples in the mouth, the nose is a bit twisted. The cotton hood has a split in the seam at the top of head and an old stitched area on seam at the lower back. There’s a couple of tiny holes in cotton fabric behind the chin where it attaches. Vintage 1950s Geometric White Red Blue Cotton Clown Costume Small
Vintage 1950s handmade clown costume, constructed from thick, durable cotton fabric reminiscent of flour sack material. The outfit is adorned with playful red and blue appliqué shapes–circles, triangles, and squares, along with matching pom-poms on the front. Exaggerated puffed sleeves and a wide, pointed collar in contrasting colors. Elastic bands sewn into the wrists and ankles, giving it a classic, ballooned silhouette. Back is open and needs to be secured shut with safety pins. Costume displays wear and imperfections throughout, including loose stitches/shapes, a few holes in the seems (mainly in crotch area, although this looks intentional due to stray stitches), light staining and discoloration, marks, etc. Good for a small adult/large child. Vintage 20s Halloween Renaissance Gypsy Cotton Antique Costume Dress Set S. Interesting 1920s Halloween costume! Made from a thin, lightweight light brick red and yellow cotton. With a bit of a sheen to it, costume has five parts. High waist skirt that’s straight cut, the elastic is missing and needs to be replaced. Costume has a long, wide yellow sash (I wrapped the bodice with it) with little tin circle things on the ends, brick red waist belt with cream yarn trim, matching hat with two long pieces in the back. Set also has these (I think) puff shoulder pieces—the have an elastic band but it is stretched out and needs to be replaced. For it’s age, not in too bad of shape. Can be worn, no dry rot or major damage. Set has not been cleaned. Skirt needs elastic for the waist, some stains/dirt on the skirt, the sash and hat are in nice shape, sash has a few stains on it and is missing some little metal circle things, waist belt yarn ends are a bit dirty. Due to their age, costumes are not returnable. Please view all images carefully. I do my best to describe everything in the listing but feel free to ask any question or request photos.
