VTG Collegeville Ling Tiger Mask Handmade Halloween Costume Suit Ringling Bros
Vintage tiger Halloween costume featuring an original Collegeville “Ling the Tiger” molded mask, originally produced as part of the Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey costume line. The accompanying tiger suit does not appear to be the original Collegeville factory costume. This example instead comes with what appears to be a handmade/custom sewn tiger costume, creating a much more elaborate ensemble. Collegeville Ling the Tiger molded face mask with strap. Full tiger-striped zippered jumpsuit. Attached long stuffed tiger tail. Separate matching tiger hood with dimensional pink-lined ears. Pair of matching tiger-striped mitts/gloves. Bold yellow/orange and black all-over tiger print. The handmade construction and complete matching pieces give this one incredible old-school Halloween character. Whether somebody upgraded their original Collegeville costume or simply paired the Ling mask with a homemade creation years ago, the combination makes for a fantastic survivor. CONDITION: Vintage pre-owned condition with age and wear throughout. The Collegeville mask has multiple cracks/splits along the outer edges, including the areas shown clearly in the close-up photographs. There is additional surface/paint wear consistent with age. Costume shows general vintage wear from use and storage. No attempt has been made to repair or restore the mask. SIZE: No size tag found on the handmade costume. Please refer closely to the photographed measurements for actual dimensions and fit. The original Ling mask was associated with Collegeville’s child-size costume line, but the measurements of this particular handmade suit should be used when determining fit. The elastic they were held together with at the top has been cut so if you were going to use this you would have to replace elastic. Costume shows expected wrinkles and light wear from age and storage. Original box has age/storage wear and tape. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the condition description.
Collegeville Costume Co. Child’s Clown Costume 2 pc, fabric, Vintage 1960’s
This vintage child’s clown costume was manufactured by the Collegeville Costume Co. It is a classic two-piece costume, constructed out of flame-retardant crinkle cut rayon or thin synthetic fabric. The costume features a graphic shirt showcasing a clown face with a diamond patterned ruff, paired with mismatched split-design pants; one side bright yellow and the other side red with large black polka dots. THIS COSTUME IS CONSIDERED TO BE UNCOMMON TO SCARCE AND WAS DESIGNED TO BE WORN ONCE OR TWICE. THIS IS AN AMAZINGLY RARE FIND OF THIS EXACT COSTUME IN THIS CONDITION. This was my childhood costume and has been lovingly stored for many years to preserve it. It has never been exposed to smoke. There is no size tag in the costume but I would have been approximately age 5 when I wore this.
Vintage NOS 1991 Street Fighter 2 Blanka Collegeville Halloween Mask & Outfit
Original Vintage dated 1991 – Collegeville Imagineering L. Street Fighter II Blanka Costume which includes shirt front and mask as shown. Never worn outfit – Mask itself is still sealed in plastic. Original Collegeville cardboard hanging display. Marked a size Small Child Size. Here is the only issue we notice – The shirt front was made with some sort of foam – the inside of it was backed with a netting (see last picture). This happens in very small specs and kind of looks like granules of sand. If you’ve ever had a old snapback trucker hat the same thing happens in the forehead area.
Vintage 1966 Collegeville Costume Ghoul Phantom of the Opera Mask w Box RARE HTF
This is The Ghoul, released in 1966 by Collegeville Costume as part of their Monster-Glo Costumes 3200 line. The costumes in this line come with a reflecta-lite mask, which are silver reflective spots on the mask, and a glow-in-the-dark image on the costume. Unfortunately, the glow-in-the-dark parts of this costume seem to have lost their glow, but maybe I didn’t give it enough time in the light before testing it in darkness. Having owned hundreds of these types of vintage costumes, this mask and costume look unused. There are however, issues from age. The mask is in excellent condition, with only two small cracks, one on each side of the chin. There are also some light darkish spots in the neon yellow areas and the nose. This could be from the mask rubbing up against the plastic box window. The costume looks unused, but has brown age spots on the green sleeves and on the tan pants. This is especially noticeable where the pants were folded. The top has a 2″ split in the fabric from the corner of the left eye to the forehead, and another 1.5″ split right above that, on the head. On close inspection, the fabric of the pants also have teeny-tiny micro splits throughout. The front of the box has a tear on the right side, above the black cat’s tail and is slightly squished in the bottom, right corner. There is a crease across the black cat’s paws. The plastic window is only attached at one corner and has scuffs on the inside from the mask rubbing up against it. The inside of the box has brown age spots.

I believe it is all complete and in very good condition. Ears are rubber flaking is a little from age. Other than that, good condition. Comes in original box.
