Antique c1910 Wangee REAL Charlie Chaplin Cane REAL BAMBOO For Halloween Costume
This is one of those details that will win you the costume contest. Jacqueline used this exact type of cane when he played The Tramp. Same handle, same wangee bamboo material. Same time era exactly. Part of his act is how he flexes the cane. That’s what his cane was made from. It was for teachers or schoolmasters or gentlemen to carry for looks. It was used as a whipping cane is schools that used corporal punishment. Chaplin can be seen using this kind of cane with the slightly shorter handle and others with the full length handle. His earlier stuff tends to show him with this exact length and style of cane. If you want an authentic and complete Chaplin costume, this is the key that will set you apart from all others. No one else will have this actual wangee cane. There are no breaks in this cane and it bends just fine. Impressively so, in fact. This bending is necessary if you want to actually re-create any of his gestures or moves with it. You can’t get that from the other canes. Colorful Antique C1890 Ceremonial Odd Fellows Robe “Guard”. Made by Fuller Regalia + Costume Co Worcester Mass, see label. This robe came from the Odd Fellows Lodge in Winterport, Maine. It appears it was professionally cleaned before it was stored. Robe measures about 42″ long and is 46″ under the arms. Fully lined with blue, grey, and white cotton striped material.

1 Re-designed from materials from late 1800s to early 1900s. Skirt is hand-made with 1800s beadings, shear fabrics, ribbons, and other miscellaneous turn of the century fabrics. Skirt fits Petite to Small and has attached hand-made belt with vintage black roses on detachable clip. Skirt fits front area Only with ribbon belt extending to back. 2 Included Sequins Jacket (hand-sewn in with stretchable top is included). 3 Mask is also included. Breast: 32″ – 34″. Waist: 24″ – 26″. Hat: Late 1800s – Early 1900s Original Black Velvet Hat has been cleaned and restored w/Original Beads, and updated with shear fabric ribbons. [I was pleased with the re-design of the hat]. After completion, it resembled a 1930’s hat of that era, which led me create the costume. Please Note : I love restoring vintage & antique clothing to fit a more modernized time. Antique Halloween party hat Marks Brothers 1920s 11 great shape
An antique 1920s Halloween party hat. 11 tall with nice fringe with an owl face. Fabulously still in good condition for the age. The paper is very strong with no tears or holes; and color is still very vibrant orange. The black paper tassel on top is still intact but fragile and shouldn’t be handled much. The hat, in my opinion, should not be worn in order to preserve it. Although the paper is thick and durable, it will rip if handled and used too much. I believe this is was made by Marks Brothers; but I can not be sure because there is no marking.

Vintage Antique 1920’s 1930’s Masquerade Military Girl Halloween Costume Box C1
This is a rare and unique opportunity to own a Halloween costume from 100 years ago. The box is marked military girl size 8 to 10 small. I doubt if anybody would wear this at this point. The entire way of the box is just over a pound. The red jacket feels like a cross between cotton burlap. Its still in great condition. It does have some stains on the shirts. See the photos white marks. I did not try to wash this. It has three snaps in the back. Sleeve length shoulder to cough 20 inches shoulder to him 15 1/2 inches. Skirt is drawstring way so it fits everybody. At its biggest it measures 44 inches around. Length 18 1/4 inches. It also shows signs of aging. The hat is folded flat. Shown on a large mannequin head. This is for child. It would fit a little different. It comes with a little masquerade mask and black apron. I dont know if this is original to this box. Also a green sash belt or necktie.
