Antique Halloween party hat Marks Brothers 1920s 11 great shape
An antique 1920s Halloween party hat. 11 tall with nice fringe with an owl face. Fabulously still in good condition for the age. The paper is very strong with no tears or holes; and color is still very vibrant orange. The black paper tassel on top is still intact but fragile and shouldn’t be handled much. The hat, in my opinion, should not be worn in order to preserve it. Although the paper is thick and durable, it will rip if handled and used too much. I believe this is was made by Marks Brothers; but I can not be sure because there is no marking.

This is a rare and unique opportunity to own a Halloween costume from 100 years ago. The box is marked military girl size 8 to 10 small. I doubt if anybody would wear this at this point. The entire way of the box is just over a pound. The red jacket feels like a cross between cotton burlap. Its still in great condition. It does have some stains on the shirts. See the photos white marks. I did not try to wash this. It has three snaps in the back. Sleeve length shoulder to cough 20 inches shoulder to him 15 1/2 inches. Skirt is drawstring way so it fits everybody. At its biggest it measures 44 inches around. Length 18 1/4 inches. It also shows signs of aging. The hat is folded flat. Shown on a large mannequin head. This is for child. It would fit a little different. It comes with a little masquerade mask and black apron. I dont know if this is original to this box. Also a green sash belt or necktie. The mask is made of starched cotton type material. The pants have a cotton tie. The mask needs repair on the elastic tie/strap. The nose is pushed in on the mask. The hat has a bend in the center of the cardboard brim.

Vtg RARE Handmade Devil Costume 1920s Mask Cape Pitchfork Tail Horns Lucifer. Very old (1920s-1940s) handmade costume. Top is a cape with hand appliqued pitchfork on it. Snaps around the neck. Neck opening measures 7 when snapped. Cape length is 24 from neck to longest outer seam. Eye mask is attached to the hood. Mask snaps in front under the mouth. Pants are elastic at the waist with lots of stretch available. 22″-stretch to 29″. Elastic around bottom hem. Tail is stuffed and attached to butt seam. Tail measures 20 long.
