Quebec Carnival Snowman Antique Large Head Costume, Museum Piece
Headdress costume representing the Snowman of the Canada Quebec Winter Carnival. This head was possibly part of Snowman’s full suit which is not available, only the head. Surely old due to the making, I think the material used here is synthetic or so it seems, The fabric of the hat is red and they also seem to have their time. The costume has an opening below which is where the head goes in, and you can see through the mouth that acts as eyes. This costume is quite large and has a circumference measuring from bottom to top of about 57 inches and 53 inches in circumference measuring from left to right, of course this head is difficult to measure because of its shape but these measurements are quite close. The condition as seen in the photos seems very good to me because of its age, the hat like the rest has no cuts, no holes or stains and best of all no bad smell. Thank you very much.
