RARE Vintage Casper The Friendly Ghost 17in Halloween Costume Head/Mask
RARE Vintage Casper The Friendly Ghost 17 Halloween Costume Head / Mask. This is an incredibly unique vintage Casper the Friendly Ghost costume head/mask that we have personally never come across before. The exterior is covered in a soft, furry white fabric with Casper’s facial features, while the interior is constructed with a rigid molded shell that allows the head to maintain its shape. The piece measures approximately 17 inches tall by 10 inches wide. Please keep in mind that the exterior is not a crisp or bright white and does show noticeable age-related discoloration and staining, primarily along the back, with additional staining and marks around portions of the face and nose area. We have not attempted to clean the fabric due to the unknown age and construction of the piece. There are no noticeable foul or musty odors, and the item comes from a smoke-free home. There is also an interior structural piece/block that appears to be missing along one side of the head. Because of this, that side has a little more movement or flexibility than the opposite side. The head is still intact, holds its shape, and is not falling apart, but we want to specifically disclose this structural imperfection for the next collector. Please reference the detailed interior photos for a better understanding of this area. Please carefully review all posted photos, as they are an important part of the condition description and we do our absolute best to document our vintage items accurately. If you would like additional photos of the interior, exterior, staining, or construction, please don’t hesitate to message us and we will gladly provide them.
