This terrific majorette outfit was made in the 1960s likely for a parade costume. It’s pink and charcoal gray, a classic 1950s color combination, in traditional wool with bold braid to the jacket style top. Has a citation cord and decorative bands to the front, a cropped waist and classic tailoring. Hot pants are very high-waisted with matching pink stripes to the sides. Old Antique Vtg Early Ca 1930s Halloween Paper Cardboard Party Hat Owl on Branch
This offering is for an antique circa 1930’s Halloween Party Hat. The hat is made of lightweight cardstock and cone or dunce hat shaped. It’s made of two pieces of cardstock joined with a seam up the back side. The orange half is shaped like an owl sitting on a branch and the way it sits against the black half looks like a crescent moon. The hat measures app. 9″ in height and 6.5″ in diameter. The original elastic string has come loose from one end and the hat has a couple of small creases but there are no rips, tears or other damage.
