Vintage hair fiber was used on him and I had Rob do a special custom hair job on him to bring different color variations to the hair. He also has custom eye inserts! This is an 800 line Frankenstein mask pulled from the original master mold from the sixties. It was sculpted by Ellis Burman in the sixties. This mask was from the latex 800 line, not to be confused with the vinyl 800 series Frankenstein. This one is sometimes referred to as the “wide” Frankenstein. The custom finishing work is done by Cathy Tharp. This mask has not been trimmed for wearing and is meant for display only. Michael Myers mask 2018 AHG EX not Don Post
New 2018 mask, all original sculpt, no Kirk base, no Shatner lifecast, nothing. Very creepy and few others like it. Old school, slightly stylized, lots of detail, medium size(around 23.5)and medium thin. I think this is the best copy so far, i shouldn’t even sell this one. The hair is top quality too, best i’ve seen. It’s a rather stunning mask. Note though, if you’re the ocd type who will have a fit over any tiny imperfection/pin hole/crack/paint drip/ect, move along, this isn’t for you. It’s grim, and has some roughness, as The Shapes mask should. That said the pull is excellent. Overseas can be arranged, contact me for that. Here is the METALUNA MUTANT from the 1955 film This Island Earth. This Mask was made by the one and only Don Post Studios and part of the 1998 Calendar Reissue Series. This piece is in great condition with no tears, rot, hard spots, etc. If you look at the close-up picture above, there is a small spot with a paint touchup. It’s very small and not even noticeable since this mask is HUGE. The original foam padding is still inside the head, and in fantastic condition, to fit better if you decide to wear it.
