Hand Painted set of 3 Beetlejuice Lydia and Sandworm Yard Art
Hand Painted Beetlejuice, Sandworm and Lydia. Beetlejuice and Lydia are approximately 4 feet tall. The Sandworm measures 36 inches. All of my Yard Art is made out of 1/2 inch MDO sign board. This is a special product that is specifically made for outdoor use. It is more expensive than plywood but will easily withstand rain and snow and is extremely sturdy. Any type of plywood or any other wood used for outdoor yard art will eventually warp and the paint will peel. All of my Yard Art. Hand drawn by me. Cut out and sanded by hand. Hand painted with Premiere acrylic paints. Back is painted black. Sealed with 3 coats of a clear matte finish. I use the matte finish so there is no shine when using spotlights on the Yard Art. It’s not because I no longer adore her- I just bought another one which you can see peeking out at the bottom left of the second photo! And I’ve chosen to resell the best one which I offer to you now!! You may find yourself in love too… This fine witch measures approximately 37 inches at the widest point and is pretty heavy. So many of us wish that the Boardwalk Originals had not ceased production- they were the BEST. Here’s your opportunity to own what is probably Bonnie Barrett’s most famous piece. I don’t know how many she painted, but no two are ever exactly alike. Although I personally wouldn’t do it, I’ve heard you can apply a light coat of lacquer to these and use them on a covered porch as an outdoor decoration.
