Here we have a very rare 1960s which costume model number 284 large 12-14 Collegeville costumes with original box. There is however, a slight tear in the bottom section of skirt see last photo boxes and overall very nice condition. Mask has one tiny tear. Normal signs of wear and creasing around corners and edges. Mask appears to be unworn and is in great condition. 1950s Halco Playsuits Planet Patrol Costume & Alien Mask w Lights In Box RARE
Halco Superb Brand Playsuits. 1 Planet Patrol Costume. Child’s Large Shirt. 2 Wrist Cuffs with Snaps. Dome Helmet with Alien Antennae Imprint. 2 Related Character Alien Face Mask. Lights with Battery Housing Cylinder. Does not currently light up. Masking tape present for red eye sockets. One red eye cover is not attached. Comes In Original Box. SUPER RARE Collector’s Item. Vintage Rex Mars Planet Patrol costume shirt & mask from the J. Halpern Company made in Pittsburgh PA. Long-sleeved blue shirt with red mandarin collar and collar/lower section trimmed in yellow piping. “Planet Patrol” is printed in red on the chest along with silver designs and bars on the shoulders. It looks to be made of cotton twill with a back button closure and is labeled “large” in child’s sizes. Measures 20″ pit to pit and about 18″ from neck to waist. There is also an additional close-fitting space cap in red cotton/faux suede-like fabric with ties under the neck and 2 “space cuffs” with snap closures in the same fabric/faux suede-like combo. All 8 snaps sections are present – see cuff photos. Overall the outfit is in amazingly good shape given its age – this would be a primo display. Comes with original box. Box is in excellent condition for it’s age. Signs of wear, especially at the corners, with one small corner torn off yet still present. See detailed pictures from all angles. The costume in this lot, minus the alien mask, is portrayed on the front of the box. The mask has a clear plastic eye area and is primarily blue. This was my Dad’s costume from the 50’s. Very Rare 1950’s The Brain Electronic Man Cardboard Costume By Fibre-Bilt 1957
Extremely rare “Electronic Man” Cardboard Costume which was available for order through “The Brain” magazine’s back cover on issue number 4. I have included an image of the back of that issue in the final photo, but the magazine itself is not actually included. Everything appears “new” relatively speaking. Most Cardboard pieces are unpunched, with the exception of a few pieces which have disconnected from the Cardboard over the years. I do know according the the instructions it originally came with should straps and 2 wooden fasteners, which are not included in this set here.
