Authentic 1950s GYPSY Halloween Costume in original Collegeville Box? This scarce and wonderful Halloween costume is a one-of-a-kind find! This is a full set which includes: the vest, shirt, skirt, earrings, and tambourines. Outside of box is marked Medium 8 to 10. ” Vest measures 15″ long x 15 wide. Shirt long x sleeves are 17″ long, Body of shirt 16″ long x 12 wide. Skirt measures 18″ long x 36″ wide. The waist measures approximately 22 round. All measurements are approximate. ? Skirt shows a a few light stains probably from that Halloween night long ago… But does not detract. All clothing pieces are in VG condition with no rips, tears, or dry-rotting. (See photos)? The earrings were stuffed in the shirt pocket, so I assume Mom supplied these to her “little Gypsy” to complete her outfit. Gypsies & Flamenco dancers grace the front of each tambourine. They are made from tin, have a lithographic design, and are made by the U. Metal Toy Mfg Company. Both tambourines have rust and paint fading/chipping. Tambourines were stored separately in a shed. ? Original box is in poor condition. It was flattened in storage, but is gently taped together on the inside to hold shape. 200, Child, Gypsy Girl, Size Medium 8 to 10. Great to prove provenance of item. Great display piece for that Halloween collector, costume designer, or aficionado or mid century fabrics and clothing designs.

1978 Collegeville The Hardy Boys Shaun Cassidy as Joe Hardy Halloween Costume. From Hardy Boys/Shaun Cassidy Collection, this vintage costume was acquired used (or new out of package) and includes both the costume and the mask. The costume is size small and meaures approximately 30″ from collar to bottom of leg, and 13″ across waist, made of rayon and vinyl film it features Shaun Cassidy as Joe Hardy and comes with original hanging cardboard backing, along with the mask of Shaun’s face and a white back with elastic strap. This costume has been safely stored away. View images for product details including any natural wear or other imperfections; costume is in very good condition, slight wearing on the red star blast (near Shaun’s face) and the top of the mask has some light denting/creasing/wearing; pl ease note: The Shaun Cassidy (and Hardy Boys collection) were stored on a 2nd floor spare room in plastic bins; however, they were not vacuum-sealed, and therefore, due to age, have a vintage smell. Collegeville Costumes Sylvester #2111 (LARGE) HALLOWEEN SUIT, CAP & MASK withBOX
Mask has no edge cracks, no crushing & no major damage. Mask has some slight wear & signs of use. Mask has its original elastic cord. Body-suit & skull-cap have no holes, no rips & no tears; but both need ironing/pressing. Graphic image of Sylvester on the torso of the body-suit is clean & undamaged with bright colors (Red nose & white tummy). Body suit is golden-bronze & black with a 16-inch intact & undamaged stuffed tail. Body-suit & skull-cap are trimmed & both have their original draw-strings. Box is in very good condition with no tears & intact corners, but the cellophane is missing. Any flaws, if present, will be either written about here OR visible in the photos. Examine ALL of the photos carefully, using the “SUPERSIZE” feature, as the photos often can illustrate the item’s condition better than any words can. Has some age-related spots around the chin. Elastic cord is intact. The inner surface of the mask has a orange-brown stamp that reads. Which is partially-obscured by one of the elastic band clips. Sylvester Body-Suit: In excellent condition, but needs pressing/ironing. Two-tone “fire-retarded” fabrics of golden-bronze & black with red trim at the neck & arm cuffs. Has a large full-body “SYLVESTER” screen-printed graphic on the front of the torso. Suit is marked W. (Warner Brothers Pictures) beside the Sylvester graphic. Matching Fabric Skull-Cap: In excellent condition, but needs pressing/ironing. The “fire-retarded” fabric is black with a faded red trim & tie-string. The top of the cap is rounded & form-fitting. “Collegeville Costumes” Original Box: In very good condition with no tears, no rips & intact corners. Collegeville Costumes Clown #12 MASQUERADE HALLOWEEN SUIT, CAP & MASK withBOX
In very good condition. Mask has two (2) minor edge cracks just under the chin, but no crushing & no major damage. Mask has some slight wear & signs of repeated use, including some age-tanned Cellophane tape residue stains at the two (2) minor cracks. Mask has its original elastic cord. Body-suit’s seam at the crotch has had the stitching carefully cut, likely to allow the child to use the bathroom. Body-suit & skull-cap have no rips & no tears; but both need ironing/pressing. Graphic image on the torso of the body-suit is clean & undamaged with bright gold glitter. There are several very tiny holes amongst the clown graphic in the body-suit’s fabric where the glitter is not screen-printed. Body-suit & skull-cap both have their original draw-strings. Box is in good condition with intact corners; but the cellophane is missing, one (1) side of the top has a tear & that same side is a little crushed. Body-suit is trimmed at the neck & has its original red-&-white stripped draw-string. Three-tone “fire-retarded” fabrics; a dark blue torso, one (1) arm & one (1) leg are red & the opposing other arm & leg are gold. Has red & white stripped trim at the neck. Matching Fabric Dunce-Cap Skull-Cap: In excellent condition, but needs pressing/ironing. The “fire-retarded” fabric is dark blue & red with a lighter blue trim. The top of the cap is pointed like a dunce-cap. “Collegeville Costumes” Original Box. Box is in good condition with intact corners; but one (1) side of the top piece has a tear & that same side is a little crushed.
