This is one of those details that will win you the costume contest. Jacqueline used this exact type of cane when he played The Tramp. Same handle, same wangee bamboo material. Same time era exactly. Part of his act is how he flexes the cane. That’s what his cane was made from. It was for teachers or schoolmasters or gentlemen to carry for looks. It was used as a whipping cane is schools that used corporal punishment. Chaplin can be seen using this kind of cane with the slightly shorter handle and others with the full length handle. His earlier stuff tends to show him with this exact length and style of cane. If you want an authentic and complete Chaplin costume, this is the key that will set you apart from all others. No one else will have this actual wangee cane. There are no breaks in this cane and it bends just fine. Impressively so, in fact. Vtg 60s Ben Cooper Dracula Mask & Costume in Marvel Comic Hero Box Rare White. Fabulous estate sale find! Dated 1963 by Ben Cooper. Size Small (4 to 6). Classic Dracula plastic mask and fabric costume. This is the rarer Dracula fabric jumpsuit costume with the white design (most versions of this costume has the design in yellow). Comes in original Marvel Super Comic Book Hero box. Colors on box still vibrant. Box has staining on half of the box. Box is bent some on inside bottom piece. Plastic window has come off, but is still inside the box. Mask in good condition. One tiny crack on upper left corner. Has some scuffing on nose. Has some brown and black scuffing and marks inside the mask. Several rips and tears on front of fabric costume. No rips in arms and legs or back of costume. Extensive wrinkling to costume due to being folded inside box for decades. Please view all photos.
