Old Antique Vtg Early C 1930s Halloween Paper Cardboard Party Hat Jack O Lantern
This offering is for an antique circa 1930’s Halloween Party Hat. The hat is made of lightweight cardstock and cone or dunce hat shaped. It’s made of two pieces of cardstock with an orange piece for the hat itself and a small piece of black to back the cutouts. The front features a wonderful folky Jack O Lantern face that has a smiling look to it. The hat measures app. 9″ in height and 6.5″ in diameter. There is a small piece missing from the bottom edge in one spot as seen in our close-up photo’s. In addition the original elastic string has come loose from one end and the hat has a couple of small creases. You may use the magnifier function above to see detailed close-ups. Bonnie Jones does the most fantastic work with paper-mache clay and these nine Halloween ornaments are prime examples. Look at all of the pictures – each ornament is wonderful in its own way and the variety is a lot of fun also. The tree is 21 inches high, and about 8 inches in diameter. After searching out the best for over 30 years I must down-size my collection to fit into a much smaller space. I will be listing many more unique and exciting doll and dollhouse miniature items every week. Please subscribe so you won’t miss my new listings.
