BELA LUGOSI DRACULA Blow Mold by Don Featherstone Made in the USA. Lighted. 42
Made in the USA. Don Featherstone was the creator of the plastic Flamingo lawn ornaments while working at Union Products in 1957. His blow molds are very sought after and Bela Lugosi (Dracula) is among one of the most popular and can be hard to find. It measures approximately 42 tall. The light works, it has an opening so it can either be hung on the house or placed on the lawn, porch, bay window, or used in the house. The base has “Bela Lugosi as Dracula” embossed on it. Don Featherstone’s name is above that. The label on the back suggests adding sand through one of the openings for stability if using it outside. I never did that because I kept it in the window. The kids love it. This is a great “greeter” for your Halloween trick or treaters! It is in very good overall condition with some minor paint loss. Theres a very small hole on the chimney and it does not effect the illumination of the haunted when lighted up at night. I have several pictures listed to see the beauty of illumination during the day and at night. Its been stored on a shelf in my attic and only displayed inside my home as long as weve owned it. Bela Legosi Vampire blow mold made by Union Products in 1998. It is about 42″ tall and 15″ wide and in good working order. It has many nicks, scuffs, paint loss, scratches and overall storage/use/age wear. It has two light cords and one does not seem original and is hard to get out. Both lights work and bulbs are included with the sale. It was weighted on the bottom with gravel which has been emptied and it has its bottom plug.
