A truly rare bird, a woman’s Halloween dress in good condition, dating from the early 20th century. It is a “flapper” style, made from black cotton, with lace trim around the edges of the neck, sleeves, the low waist, and hem, and an appliqued 8 diameter pumpkin centered on the chest. It is, apparently, hand sewn. There are no issues with the dress itself. The lace trim and the pumpkin are somewhat faded, now a light orange color. There are several places where the lace has come loose from the gown, and needs to be re-sewn. The dress is, I guess, a petite size. It measures 37″ in length, and 12″ plus the width of the lace across the shoulders. ORANGE & BLACK HALLOWEEN DRESS – PUMPKIN APPLIQUE & LACE TRIM.
