Antique 1920’s Children’s Halloween Clown Costume with Matching Hat! This costume is nearly 100 years old and is in excellent desirable vintage condition. When looking at this costume, one can almost imagine what Halloween must have been like all those years ago. This is from my personal collection. Hat has a die cut pumpkin jester surrounded by a bat, owl and witch. Also has a band of jack o lanterns around the entire bottom. This was the marking used in the 1920’s by Beistle. This is a 1950’s Handmade vintage clown Jester costume. Handmade here in Pennsylvania by Mrs Ettinger for her son for Halloween. Has wear and tear and a few stains that may wash out. Has one rip at the back. Has clasps for a front closure. It is not brittle and still soft. Has the suit, hat and 2 face masks and a black mask. Color are Black and Gold. A great piece that’s completely one of a kind. Fits a smaller person or large child about 5′ I would say medium size. Rare antique German costume for Karneval or Fasching Parade. Most likely dating to the 1920s. Has a matching hat and detached collar both with jingle bells. Measures 38″ long 21″ across laying flat. Pant legs are meant to be worn near the knee. Great condition for age, there is a tear happening down the back(or front) as shown in photo 3.
