This listing is for one extremely rare vintage 1950s Collegeville “Scarecrow” “Sparkle Velvet” #12-S Halloween costume, with mask, with box, size Medium 8-10. Yes, this is the scarecrow costume that was immediately discontinued because of the unfortunate placement of the post and tuft of grass between the scarecrow’s legs. People mistook it for something else… Pretty funny by today’s standards. Shocking in the 1950s. Superb condition for nearly 70 years old. It even includes two unused vintage trick or trick bags, presumably from the same era. See pics for condition. Any questions, please ask.
