Rarer than rare! SPFX PROTOTYPE Handsome Guy Mask with hair and scar
As rare as it gets… And in MINT condition as well! This mask has a slight scar over one cheekbone, hand punched eyebrows and a handlebar moustache with associated soul patch, giving you the vibe of a cowboy, or perhaps a porn star . This was one of the first three Handsome Guy masks as well, and another thing that is an absolute rarity on this mask is Rusty’s METAL nose bridge/shaper. I worked with him on this and in my opinion, it is far better than the (cheaper) thermoplastic that he eventually went with. First, it is far sturdier than the plastic, and because it is metal, and can bend and hold its shape; therefore, it provides an infinitely customizable fit across your nose and allows the lower lids to achieve the “PERFECT” and invisible fit on your face. Comes from a non-smoking household, and the mask itself has been kept in a cool, dry place wrapped in plastic. Unfortunately, due to a fire in the warehouse, the SPFX (now Hollywood Mask Makers) factory was destroyed… And in all likelihood, all of the molds for the masks have perished as well or damaged beyond repair. So here’s a chance to get your hands on an ORIGINAL SPFX mask, made by Rusty Slusser himself and one of his prototypes as well… From the company that actually created the business of wearable silicone masks that look, feel and move like living skin!
