Sculpted by Pat Newman in the 60’s for DON POST STUDIOS, this particular copy was cast and finished by JUSTIN MABRY of Trick or Treat Studios and Night Owl Masks. If you know Justin’s work, then you know what a fantastic piece this is. The finishing is based on the 1965 MONSTER WOLD #6 cover. Justin has also signed the mask. Not rips, rot, dry spots, etc. And a super thick pull. Great display for any collector! 1967 Don Post Wolfman B mask by Rob Tharp
Up for sale is a gorgeous copy of a custom 1967 Don Post Wolfman B mask. This mask was a blank from a foamed master custom finished by Rob Tharp, former Don Post Studios employee! Vintage hair fiber was used on him and I had Rob do a special custom hair job on him to bring different color variations to the hair. He also has custom eye inserts! Don Post Metaluna Mutant, 1998 Calendar Reissue, THIS ISLAND EARTH (1955)
Here is the METALUNA MUTANT from the 1955 film This Island Earth. This Mask was made by the one and only Don Post Studios and part of the 1998 Calendar Reissue Series. This piece is in great condition with no tears, rot, hard spots, etc. If you look at the close-up picture above, there is a small spot with a paint touchup. It’s very small and not even noticeable since this mask is HUGE. The original foam padding is still inside the head, and in fantastic condition, to fit better if you decide to wear it.
